WHY YOU SHOULD EAT MORE EGGS
Despite the myths associated with the consumption of eggs, it is one food Nutritionists will readily recommend for almost anyone of almost any age. With its high nutritional value, eggs can be enjoyed in many different ways: boiled, fried, scrambled, etc.
Eggs are high in quality protein, with the egg-white containing a large share of the protein, this protein contains all of the essential amino acids and antioxidants that fights cancer and reduce the effect of aging.
Owing to its high cholesterol content, in times past, it was recommended to restrict egg intake to 2 or 3 eggs per week, but today studies have shown that the impact of this cholesterol is not as high as was previously postulated, so a healthy person can eat up to 7 eggs per week following a balanced diet, while those with high cholesterol related or cardiovascular diseases should limit egg intake to 2 per week or leave out the yolks.
If you are on weight loss diet, it is recommended that you control your Intake, but don’t stop taking eggs as the benefits far outweighs the downsides.
